R12140D (with remote and time-lapse function) operation and installation instruction
Summary
The Battery Sensitive Relay (BSR) allows two batteries to be charged at the same time. When the engine is started and the start battery reaches 13.3v, the BSR engages, allowing two battery banks (start and house) to be charged simultaneously. When the voltage drops below 12.8v for 5 second (eg the engine is stopped), the BSR disengages, separating both batteries.
Remote and time-lapse function: one assist wire provided is connected with external switch on vehicle panel (Note: COM terminal of Switch must be ground). When switch is trigged, BSR is engage and remain engaged for 15s. External switch can¡¯t be activated within this 15s. After that, BSR is disengaged if either start battery or second battery is lower than 12.8V. It is engage if either start battery or second battery is greater than 13.3V.
